A region growing seed tool is available for automatically extracting features from imagery. In addition, a variety of vegetation indices are available for determining healthy vegetation.

Analyzing Images for Information

Image Analysis for ArcGIS is designed to perform image analysis by combining multiple raster datasets to derive intelligent information. Multiple images can be combined to perform spatial and non-spatial image analysis. For example, images of the same area collected in different time intervals can be combined for change detection analysis.
