Applied Field Data Systems offers training courses on GPS and field data collection technologies:

Various types of GPS receivers, laser range finders, PDA's/Ruggedized Pen-based computers, field data collection and GIS software is covered. Participants will also receive hands-on experience collecting GPS data in the field and importing field data into a GIS database, such as ArcView.
